An interesting article Paul, here was I thinking that when you left the flat on the morning of the wedding you just hung around the venue for a bit, shuffled a few persons into position, asked them to say 'cheese' and eh voila! a wedding album in the making. Then, job done, you were off to join in the reception and drink all of their champers.... Not so, you have enlightened me no end and now when you leave the flat for a wedding photo shoot you leave me behind full of anxious intrepidation for you... God what if it rains, what if everyone ignores your request to stand where you want them to because you are not bossy enough....what if the backdrops are littered with bins and lamposts...what if.....from now on I will be the fretting photographers wife!
As if you would believe that eh!!

Poor Mr Toast,
All burnt around the edges, he's far too delicate for this 21st century world.
I have a suggestion, Why dont we just bugger off to India on our bikes and leave this techno-babble for the kids to waste their time on.See I've not gone too Germaine Greer on you yet,but I bet you will be glad to have a bit of a feminist around when it comes to lugging camping gear around in our panniers cycling up to some hill station in the Himalayas in 40 degree heat.
So where did toastphotography disappear too I wonder? in fact where do all the websites go when they are not on the thier silver screen? is there some super highway pull in for time off, where they wait and catch a silent movie and a bag of [micro]chips until they are called back to duty again?
I think its time for me to go back to my study books again as I'm talking nonsense, talking of nonsense.. its all about the Avant-Garde in Art at the moment....or better still go watch a movie and get a bag of chips and wait until I'm beckoned by toast to respond to his wailings in emailings.
Farewell!!

Well Mr Toast,

I see it's my turn to be called for supper this evening, I bet I know what it will be.....I will keep the rest of you guessing.
This morning I had a muse around a few art galleries in town. The Open Eye Gallery was exhibiting work of Matthew Draper, his work in pastels is stunning, especially the large mountain-scapes, although I thought that he could have varied his scenery a little, The views of Edinburgh are wonderful, mysterious and enchanting, the view of Canu Mor in the Highlands is gorgeous but can y do mor? I ask, there are so many mountains to draw the artist in.
Bass rock was over used as subject matter, one or two would have been fine but they were rather repetitive. This sounds like I'm complaining doesn't it, well I am but I'm not but I am if you get my drift. His work is first class and shows him as a skilled artist without any doubt and if I had the spare cash I would certainly not hesitate to buy one of his works so please Mathew if you ever read this, more variation please. That's all I ask [apart from a 90% discount for fan loyalty]
So then it was a cycle ride back to the flat and back to my essay, I am in the second year of an Open Uni Course in Art History - ah there is a connected theme to this mornings jaunts to the galleries- I have to write about gender issues and art, umm this opens a whole can of worms and of late I feel the worm turning into a bit of a feminist - how long is that supper Paul??!!- no I didnt really shout that. Unfortunately there is a word limit to my essay of 2000 words, I have just finished my introduction and I have used up 900 of them, I wish I was one of those people who could articulate and be succinct and precise in what they want to say but alas no matter how hard I try, organizing notes and preparing stuff etc I can't seem to get it down on paper in the way I have it in my head.
Maybe I could place word restrictions on my blogs to help me practice!
In that case I have gone over and........

another day. so toast photography or wedding photography in edinburgh (go go google!)whats it all about?

For me its my job, and a fine job too. Its not easy but i'm my own boss so i can do what i want when i want, this normally entails doing all the nice wedding stuff first and leaving the tax forms til a day before deadline.

How do you become a wedding photographer? I'l anwser that in the morrow, my dinners ready!

Ah, so already I'm being censored! Football I'll have you know keeps many a fine figured chap/chapette entertained without having to move a finger!

Todays post is about..... POST! In an age of super fast e-mails internet information at you finger tips(if you can find something you want to look at)why oh why do we still have to sit around and wait for the forever promised parcel to arrive? Yeah, you can order it at the drop of a hat, super speedy that part is.

BUT here I am waiting for it, for another day! Pah, all those vans driving around full of parcels but every house they deliver to nobodies in...Except me!

So i'm waiting for my parcel sat here on me arse, too scared to go out because I know as soon as I do a ticket will be shoved through me letter box saying 'i'll be back some time in the next month'.

Help, i'm a prisoner to fedral express!
